Moving an appointment

Drag the block. Vertically it snaps to the agenda's set grid; horizontally it jumps to the column where you let go. While dragging you see a floating little label with the new start time, and the target column lights up in copper.

The whole appointment moves along — all blocks, processing time included.

Esc during the drag breaks off the movement.

Dragging one block separately

Bottom right in a block sits a small handle. If you drag that, you move only that block; the rest of the appointment stays put. The handle carries the text Alleen dit blok verslepen (drag only this block).

That is how you put the blow-dry with a colleague while the colouring stays with you.

What is blocked

  • A locked block (padlock) cannot be picked up by its handle, and it does not move along when you drag the whole appointment either.
  • A movement stays within the agenda's window.
  • If you move to another column, only the blocks that belonged to the dragged staff member move. A colleague's block in the same appointment stays where it is.
  • If the staff member is not free at that moment, the server refuses with Medewerker niet vrij (staff member not free) — De gekozen medewerker is op dat moment niet vrij. (the chosen staff member is not free at that moment). The appointment springs back to where it was.

Only active blocks occupy a staff member. Processing blocks, cancelled appointments and no-shows never cause a conflict. That is why you may simply put a second client into the first one's processing time.

Other messages you may read: Dat tijdstip is intussen bezet. (that time has been taken in the meantime), Je hebt hier geen rechten voor. (you have no rights for this), Die afspraak bestaat niet meer. (that appointment no longer exists), Geen verbinding met de server. (no connection to the server).

Changing an appointment's duration

That cannot be done by dragging: there is no stretch handle, and a block's length does not change when it is moved. If a colouring structurally takes longer with this staff member, adjust that under Salon → Medewerkers (staff), in the Diensten (services) section: there you set an own duration per service per staff member.

Opening an appointment

Tap it (without dragging). On the right the detail window opens with:

  • the client's name, or Eenmalige klant (one-off client), with 09:00–10:15 · 1 u 15 next to it;
  • a red frame with the pinned remarks on that client, if there are any;
  • Laatste kleurformule (latest colour formula) — the salon's raw notation, exactly as it was written down;
  • Blokken (blocks) — per block the time, the service (or the word inwerktijd, processing time), a padlock on a locked block, the staff member and the price, with Totaal (total) underneath;
  • the origin: Online geboekt (booked online), Telefonisch (by telephone), Binnengewandeld (walk-in), Klantenportaal (customer portal) or Overgezet uit Optios (carried over from Optios), possibly followed by · nieuwe klant (· new client);
  • the telephone number and the note;
  • the Status section;
  • bottom right the Afrekenen (settle) button.

Cancelling

At the bottom of the detail window sits Annuleren (cancel) in red. You get the question Afspraak annuleren? (cancel appointment?) with Nee (no) and Ja, annuleren (yes, cancel).

Nothing is deleted. The appointment gets the status geannuleerd (cancelled), with the moment and the reason recorded, and disappears from the grid. The client gets a cancellation mail — if you have that mail switched on under Instellingen → E-mail.

Permanently deleting an appointment is not possible from the agenda. That is on purpose: a cancelled appointment stays in the client's history and in the figures.

Frequently asked questions

I moved something by accident — how do I put it back? Just drag it back. Every move is written to the audit log (Instellingen → Logboek), so you can always check who moved what and when.

Why does nothing change while I drag? Look at the bar at the top: if it says Offline, your change is kept and sent as soon as the connection is back.
