Expected revenue

Updated on 2026-08-22

Rapporten → Verwachte omzet (Reports → Expected revenue). Opens on this month. This report adds up what is in the calendar, not what went through the till.

It is an estimate, not a takings figure. Every booked service is counted at the price that is in the service list today, VAT included. No historical average is involved: this is a sum over what is booked, nothing more.

How it differs from the revenue report

Looks at Answers
Omzet (revenue) closed receipts what did I earn?
Verwachte omzet (expected revenue) booked appointments what is still coming?

The two overlap on appointments that have already been settled. That is why that amount sits in its own column here — see Al afgerekend below.

Which appointments count

Status Counts
Geboekt (booked), Bevestigd (confirmed), Aanwezig (arrived), Afgewerkt (completed) yes
Geannuleerd (cancelled) no — that hour will not be sold
Niet gekomen (no-show) no — a no-show does not pay

Note the difference with the utilisation report: there a no-show does count, because that time was genuinely lost. Here it is about money.

A deleted appointment never counts. Processing time is not a service: for a colour only the active block is counted, otherwise every colour would appear twice in the revenue.

Which price

The price that is in the service list today. The reason: that is how the till will ring it up. Raise a service price tomorrow and the expected revenue of already booked appointments moves up with it.

The duration of a service can differ per staff member; the price cannot.

If a service is no longer in the list, the report falls back on the price pinned at booking time. If there is none either — which is the case for the blocks carried over from Optios — nothing is invented: those services show up in the Zonder prijs (no price) column and are part of no amount at all.

VAT

A service price is VAT inclusive. The report extracts the VAT per booked service, exactly as the till will do per receipt line — not from the daily total, because then the forecast could end up a cent away from the receipt.

Every amount column carries incl. btw (VAT included) or excl. btw (excl. VAT) in its name. The breakdown per rate is at the bottom.

Tables 1 and 2 — Per day and per week

The same figures, twice: one row per day and one row per week. The weekly table is nothing but the days added together.

Column Meaning
Dag / Week (day / week) Ma 24 aug 2026 or Week 35 2026
Afspraken (appointments) appointments with at least one service that day
Diensten (services) booked services; processing time does not count
Verwacht excl. btw (expected excl. VAT)
Btw (VAT) taken out of the price, per service
Btw-tarief onbekend (VAT rate unknown) only visible when it occurs: services no longer in the list
Verwacht incl. btw (expected incl. VAT) the figure it is about
Al afgerekend (already settled) a closed receipt already exists for this; the amount is therefore also in the revenue report
Nog te verwachten (still expected) expected incl. VAT minus already settled
Zonder prijs (no price) only visible when it occurs: booked services with no price to be found

The Btw-tarief onbekend and Zonder prijs columns appear only when such appointments exist. An empty column does not make a report more complete, only wider.

Table 3 — Expected VAT per rate

Per VAT rate: the expected amount excl. VAT, the VAT and the amount incl. VAT. Services whose rate cannot be traced sit under Onbekend (unknown) with an empty excl. VAT amount — no invented rate.

This is not a VAT return. For that, the Dagontvangsten (daily takings) remain the source.

Where the figure can come out too high

A package (menu) may carry its own price that is lower than the sum of its services. An appointment does not pin that package — the calendar plans a package as its separate services. If the till rings up the package, the amount will be lower than estimated here. The same goes for a discount you only give at the counter.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there an amount on a day that has already passed? Because there were appointments in the calendar that day. Look at Al afgerekend: what is there has meanwhile become real revenue.

My total does not match the revenue report. Nor should it. This report counts appointments, the revenue report counts receipts. Product sales are not in here, standalone discounts are not either, and an appointment still to come is nowhere in the till yet.

Products sold are not included? No. A product that has not been sold yet is booked nowhere. This report only counts what is in the calendar.
