Checking and correcting punches

Where do I find this?

Salon → Prikklok-overzicht (time clock overview). The page opens on the Monday of this week; at the top stands Week van 17 augustus 2026 tot 23 augustus 2026 (week from 17 August 2026 to 23 August 2026).

Three buttons at the top: Vorige week (previous week), Deze week (this week), Volgende week (next week).

Clocked versus scheduled

Per dag: geprikte uren, en daaronder het verschil met het rooster. Positief is langer gewerkt dan gepland.

Per day: hours clocked, and below that the difference against the roster. Positive means worked longer than scheduled.

Columns: Medewerker (staff member), then the seven days (ma 17/8), then Geprikt (clocked), Gepland (scheduled) and Verschil (difference).

In each day cell stands the clocked total, and below it in small type:

• loopt nog (still running — red) for an open punch;
• or the difference: +0 u 20 in green, −1 u 15 in red;
• or — when nothing has been clocked and there is no roster to set against it.

Two things to know:

• Today and later do not count towards the difference. Otherwise on a Friday you would see "−8 u" against the Saturday that is still to come — and that is not a shortfall but a day that has not been worked yet.
• Without a roster the difference is empty, not zero. "Zero difference" would suggest that it is correct.

Staff members with no punches and no roster do not appear: nobody reads an overview full of zeros.

This week's punches

A corrected punch also shows what the clock originally measured.

Columns: Dag (day), Medewerker (staff member), Begin (start), Einde (end), Pauze (break), Gewerkt (worked), Herkomst (origin), and on the far right the correction button.

• Under Begin and Einde stands, in small type, what the clock originally measured: geprikt 17:03 (clocked 17:03).
• Einde shows niet afgeklokt (not clocked out) in red for an open punch.
• Herkomst is a badge: geprikt (clocked), handmatig (manual) or Optios. If a correction has been made, a second badge is added: gecorrigeerd door Kris (corrected by Kris), with the reason as a tooltip.

Correcting

Click Corrigeren (correct) on the row. Above the form stands what the clock measured:

As clocked: 17/08/2026 08:32 – 17:03. That time stays stored and stays visible next to the correction.

Confirm with Corrigeren. You get the message Prikbeurt gecorrigeerd (punch corrected).

What a correction does

• The clocked times stay stored and stay visible next to the correction.
• The reason is added as a line to the note, with date and name: 22/08/2026 14:05 — Kris: klant liep uit, vergeten af te klokken.
• The name of whoever corrected it stays attached. That is why the reason is required: a correction without a reason cannot be traced.
• A second correction leaves the original in place. That remains the clock's raw measurement, not the previous correction.
• The correction goes into the audit log (Instellingen → Logboek), with one line per changed field, the reason and the name. Wages hang on hours, and a discussion about wages rarely comes up in the same month.

If it does not work

• Corrigeren lukt niet (correcting failed) — Uw gebruiker hangt niet aan een medewerker. Koppel die eerst onder Salon › Medewerkers. — Your user is not linked to a staff member. Link one first under Salon › Medewerkers. Without a linked staff member there is nobody to attach the correction to.
• De eindtijd ligt vóór de begintijd. Klopt de datum van het einde? — The end time lies before the start time. Is the end date correct?
• Een prikbeurt kan niet in de toekomst eindigen. — A punch cannot end in the future.

Punches from Optios

For a punch with the Optios badge, the roster and the difference between clocked and approved stand in the notitie (note), in this form:

Rooster in Optios: 09:00 - 18:00
Geprikt in Optios: 08:57 - 18:12, goedgekeurd als 09:00 - 18:00

Optios knew three pairs of times — clocked, approved and roster — and paid out the approved time. That difference is not a detail: it is the difference between what the clock measured and what was paid. HairConnect takes the approved time as the real time and stores the rest as text, so that on an old punch you can still see what it was compared against back then.
