Statuses: present, finished, no-show
Updated on 2026-08-22
Every appointment carries one status. You set it in the appointment's detail window, under the heading Status.
| Button | What it means |
|---|---|
| Geboekt (booked) | the appointment is noted down |
| Bevestigd (confirmed) | the client has confirmed |
| Aanwezig (present) | the client has checked in at the front desk |
| Afgewerkt (finished) | the visit is done |
| No-show | the client did not turn up |
Geannuleerd (cancelled) is not among the buttons. You only get that status through the Annuleren (cancel) button at the bottom of the same window.
What each status does
Bevestigd also fixes the moment of confirmation, once.
No-show gives the block its own surface with a cross, laid over the colour of the service. If the no-show mail is switched on (Instellingen → E-mail), it goes out to the client. A no-show does count towards the utilisation rate: that time is genuinely lost, and you want to see it.
Afgewerkt keeps the colour of the service, but lighter. You usually do not have to set that status yourself: closing a receipt at the till automatically puts the appointment on Afgewerkt.
Geannuleerd gives the time back and counts nowhere.
Settling
The Afrekenen (settle) button sits bottom right in the detail window, but only when the appointment falls today and is not cancelled or a no-show. It takes you to the till with this appointment already open.
See Making a receipt.
Frequently asked questions
Can I undo a status? Yes, just tap another button. The status change does not go into the audit log; cancelling and moving do.
Why does setting a status sometimes fail? You then read Status wijzigen is niet gelukt. (changing the status did not succeed) with the reason underneath — usually Geen verbinding met de server. (no connection to the server).
