Consumption and the time clock

Consumption
Rapporten → Verbruik (Reports → Consumption). What went down the basin and into the colour bar. With a chart of the twelve most used products.
Table 1 — Consumption per product
Valued at purchase price — this is cost, not revenue.
Product (product) (with the contents underneath), Merk (brand), Verbruikt (used) (in units), Boekingen (bookings) and Waarde aankoop (purchase value).
The valuation is done at purchase price and not at selling price: the salon does not sell this, it uses it. Selling price would present the cost three times too high.
Products without a purchase price do count in the quantity and not in the value. The column then shows a dash, so it stays visible that a price is missing.
Table 2 — Consumption per staff member
Medewerker (staff member), Verbruikt, Verschillende producten (different products) and Waarde aankoop.
Consumption without a staff member appears as Niet toegewezen (unassigned). Hiding that row would make the total deviate.
If there is nothing: Geen backbar-verbruik geboekt in deze periode. (no backbar consumption recorded in this period.)
Time clock
Rapporten → Prikklok (Reports → Time clock). The hours worked against the work schedule, per month. For day-to-day follow-up and corrections you use Salon → Prikklok-overzicht (Salon → Time clock overview).
Table 1 — Hours per staff member
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Medewerker (staff member) | |
| Gewerkte dagen (days worked) / Prikbeurten (punches) | counts |
| Geprikt (punched) / Gepland (scheduled) | in hours |
| Verschil (difference) | punched minus scheduled, only over the days that have passed; empty when there was no schedule |
| Gemiddelde dag (average day) | in hours |
| Niet afgeklokt (not clocked out) | punches without an end time; those count nowhere |
| Gecorrigeerd (corrected) | the number of corrected punches |
In the total row Gemiddelde dag stays empty: the average of an average is not an average.
Table 2 — Hours per week
Payroll weeks according to ISO 8601, so from Monday up to and including Sunday.
Week, Geprikt, Gepland and Verschil. A current or future week shows a smaller difference than the two columns next to it suggest, because the days still to come do not count.
Table 3 — Niet afgeklokt
Punches without an end time. No end time is assumed — these hours count nowhere until someone puts them right.
Dag (day), Medewerker, Aangeklokt om (clocked in at) and Herkomst (origin).
This table stands apart and in plain sight, not tucked away in a footnote: every row is a day that does not get paid out as long as nobody puts it right.
If everything is in order: Iedereen heeft netjes afgeklokt in deze periode. (everyone clocked out properly in this period.)
Why it is not always 24 hours
The night of the clock change lasts 23 or 25 hours. For a revenue chart that is sloppy; for a payslip it is theft or a gift. HairConnect therefore calculates with real elapsed time.
