Instellingen → Plaatsen (Settings → Places).

Hier zet u hoeveel plaatsen uw salon heeft en van welke soort. De agenda telt ze mee en waarschuwt wanneer er op een moment geen vrije plaats meer is. — Here you set how many places your salon has and of which kind. The calendar counts them and warns you when there is no free place left at a given moment.

What this is for

Until now your calendar knew whether a staff member was free, but not whether a chair was. While colour develops, the staff member is free and the chair is not — so more customers could be in the salon at once than there are places, with nothing saying so.

Make one row per kind: a name as you say it yourself, how many you have, and optionally the checkbox Dit is reserve (This is reserve). Then set on every service (Diensten → a service → Plaats in het salon) which kind it uses during the treatment, and which during the waiting time. A service without a kind counts nowhere.

As long as you enter nothing here, nothing changes: the calendar keeps no limit at all, exactly as it works today.

The reserve

A kind marked as reserve absorbs the overflow from the others: if an ordinary kind is full but reserve is free, the calendar does not warn and says the reserve is being used. That is an assumption of ours and not an agreement with you — if it does not hold for your salon, let us know.

What you see in the calendar

If a kind is full at the moment you place or drag a proposal, the bar under the calendar says which customer is sitting there and at what hour. You can still confirm: you know your salon better than we do. That booking does go into the log.
