Watching live and working offline

At the front desk there are often several devices open at once. HairConnect keeps them together, and keeps working when the network drops for a moment.
The two indicators at the top
Live says whether this device is listening in on colleagues' changes.

If a colleague changes something, that appointment lights up in copper for a few seconds. Your own changes do not light up.
Online / Offline says whether this device reaches the server. You may also read Offline · 3 wijzigingen wachten (offline · 3 changes waiting) or 3 wijzigingen wachten (3 changes waiting).
Click either one and the device panel opens.

Connection
The facts about this device: Toestand (state), Lokale opslag (local storage), Platform, Laatst gesynchroniseerd (last synchronised), Live meeluisteren (listening in live), Laatste wijziging van een collega (last change by a colleague) and Dag opnieuw opgehaald (day fetched again).
Two buttons: Nu synchroniseren (synchronise now) and Vliegtuigmodus (aeroplane mode). That last one pretends there is no connection — handy for seeing how the salon runs on a bad line.
Queue
What still has to be sent. If there is nothing: Alles is verstuurd. (everything has been sent).
What has happened
The report per change: verstuurd (sent), stond er al (was already there), geweigerd (refused), vervallen (expired).
Receipt printer
Adres (address) and Poort (port) of the receipt printer (ESC/POS over the network, port 9100). Buttons: Bewaren (save), Testbon (test receipt) and Lade open (open drawer). The cash drawer hangs off the printer: opening it is a pulse in the receipt stream.
Scanning and Notifications
Buttons Product and Cadeaubon (gift card) to scan, and Meldingen aanzetten (switch on notifications) for push messages on this device.
What can and cannot be done offline

The reason is that the receipt number and the hash come from the server. Without those two, a receipt is not a fiscal document. See The cash journal.
As soon as the connection is back, your changes still go out. Nothing is ever silently thrown away.
Frequently asked questions
Every iPad has its own registration — what if one goes missing? Every device gets its own key. Logging out on one iPad does not touch the others, and a lost device can be revoked separately.
Why is the Live indicator sometimes not there at all? Then listening in is not configured on this server. The agenda would rather say that honestly than half-heartedly.
